A 5 Towns, NY accounting firm is hiring a payroll specialist. Job includes processing bi-weekly and monthly payroll cycles accurately and on time, payroll onboarding, reviewing timesheets, preparing reports and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws. Candidate must be proficient in Excel and have strong knowledge of payroll laws & compliance and in payroll software. Looking for someone who has at least 1 year of processing payroll experience. Benefits include PTO and holiday/vacation pay. Salary is commensurate with experience and hours.
Mon-Thurs, 9 am-5 pm, and Fri, 9 am-1/2 pm
