
A payroll company is looking for a hands-on Head of Finance / Controller to oversee all financial operations, including multi-state payroll, payroll tax filings, money movement, and client billing. Key Responsibilities:
Manage financial operations, reporting, and compliance
Oversee payroll, tax filings, banking, and ACH transactions
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and KPI tracking
Handle client billing and internal audits
Supervise and develop the finance team
Requirements:
5+ years in a senior finance or controller role
Multi-state payroll and tax filing experience
Proficient in QuickBooks and Excel
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
Local to or able to work in Orange County, NY
5-6 years
