Account Manager – Commercial Auto Insurance
Description:
Our Brooklyn-based insurance agency, specializing in commercial auto liability and fleet risk management, is seeking a talented and experienced Account Manager to join our team.
This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is client-focused, and knows how to manage the full cycle—from renewals and reporting to RFPs and carrier coordination.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Manage a book of commercial auto insurance clients
Prepare monthly experience and claims reports
Lead renewals and marketing (RFPs, carrier outreach, proposal analysis)
Oversee policy transitions and implementations
Coordinate and deliver client communication materials
Review all agreements, employee booklets, and carrier documents
Ensure compliance and support junior team members
What You Bring:
3+ years in insurance account management (commercial lines preferred)
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Experience handling marketing efforts and renewals
Knowledge of fleet insurance or employee benefits is a plus
