Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized onsite Bookkeeper and Administrative Assistant to join our team in Eatontown, NJ. This role involves managing financial records, assisting with bookkeeping tasks, and providing administrative support to ensure effective and efficient office operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in bookkeeping, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Bookkeeping & Accounting:

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
  • Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and collections.
  • Reconcile bank statements, accounts, and financial transactions and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist with payroll processing and tax filings.
  • Prepare financial reports as needed.
  • Conduct and assist with audits and reviews.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure financial data accuracy and timely processing.

Administrative Support:

  • Manage office correspondence, including mail, emails, and phone calls.
  • Organize and maintain filing systems (digital and physical) to support audits and compliance.
  • Schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and documents.
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory.
  • Manage IT support requests with outsourced service provider

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 5 years of proven experience in bookkeeping and administrative support.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks,) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to provide actional solutions.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience in a small to mid-size business.


Job Type: Full-time


Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per Hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime as needed
