DESCRIPTION

Position Summary:

We are seeking a responsible, detail-oriented Senior Accountant/Controller to oversee the preparation of financial statements and support financial audits. This role is responsible for managing core accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, account reconciliations, and cash management. The ideal candidate can work independently, exercise sound judgment, and effectively supervise and manage accounting staff.

Senior Accountant/Controller duties and requirements:

·    Previous experience as an accountant, controller, or in a similar role in a nursing home financial services environment.

·    Degree in accounting, finance, or in a related field.

·    Strong computer skills and knowledge of accounting software programs.

·    Demonstrable experience of Excel proficiency, including the use of XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP and SUMIF formulas and pivot tables.

·    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·    Highly organized and detail-oriented.

·    Excellent math and accounting skills.
