A growing company is seeking a skilled and experienced full-time Bookkeeper to join its finance team. The ideal candidate is proficient in QuickBooks, highly detail-oriented, and focused. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with numbers and maintaining accurate financial records.
Job Overview:
As the Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. You will work closely with the finance team and other departments to ensure timely and accurate financial information.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Monitor and track company expenses
• Manage petty cash and expense reimbursements
• Assist with budget preparation and forecasting
• Maintain organized financial files and records
• Generate financial reports as requested by management
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records
• Implement and maintain internal financial controls
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience
• Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks (Desktop and Online)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High level of integrity and confidentiality
• Real estate experience preferred
