A Monsey-based nursing home operator is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our growing team. Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting operations and financial reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Manage general ledger, reconciliations, and journal entries

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls

• Support audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting

Skills Needed:

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and GAAP

• Experience with financial statements and month-end close

• Advanced Excel and spreadsheet skills

• Attention to detail and strong analytical ability

• Organized with excellent time management skills

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Healthcare or nursing home accounting experience preferred
