We are seeking a dedicated audit professional to join our team as a Manager. Experience auditing clients in the Healthcare industry is a plus!


Responsibilities


  • Utilize your technical knowledge and skills to submit reviewed work to partners with the expectation that minimal or no changes will be required.
  • Support a collaborative and team-oriented environment while pushing yourself, your peers, and your team for strong results and quality work.
  • Manage all engagement responsibilities including fee quoting, engagement planning, staffing, engagement letters, and budget approval.
  • Oversee, supervise, and monitor the work of your team by providing on-the-job training and feedback, ensuring that each project is completed accurately and within budget.
  • Identify areas of risk on an engagement; develop and enact plans to manage those risks.
  • Develop meaningful contact with clients and gain their confidence.
  • Actively develop a network of prospective clients and collaborate internally to work with those leads.
  • Effectively communicate all aspects of work performed to clients, partners, managers, and staff.
  • Supervise and develop staff; enhance team technical skills.
  • Identify expanded service opportunities for existing clients and actively participate in networking with community and professional organizations.
  • Adhere to and communicate firm policies and procedures.
  • Perform other job-related duties as required.


Requirements


  • 7+ years of experience in a public accounting firm.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-demand projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent technical skills across a broad range of accounting and auditing issues.
  • Capability to supervise a team effectively.
  • Top-notch professionalism with staff and clients in high-pressure situations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and accounting software.
  • Master’s degree in accounting.
  • CPA License is required.
