About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate ABA Intake Specialist to join our team. The Intake Specialist will be the first point of contact for families seeking Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services, ensuring a smooth and supportive intake process. This role is vital in guiding families through the onboarding process, verifying insurance coverage, and coordinating care to ensure timely access to services.

We are a fast growing and up and coming ABA agency that is looking for you to take over our intake department.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the initial point of contact for families inquiring about ABA services.
• Explain service options, intake requirements, and answer questions in a clear, compassionate manner.
• Collect client information, medical history, and required documents.
• Verify and process insurance benefits and eligibility for ABA therapy.
• Schedule intake assessments and coordinate with clinical staff to ensure timely appointments.
• Maintain accurate records of all communications and documentation.
• Provide ongoing support to families during the intake and authorization process.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a healthcare, behavioral health, or administrative intake role preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance verification and medical documentation is strongly desired.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask, work independently, and maintain attention to detail.
• Compassionate, family-focused, and professional demeanor.
