Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Position Summary
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of a national hospitality organization. The COO works closely with ownership and senior leadership to execute the company's strategic vision, drive operational excellence, improve profitability, and ensure exceptional client and guest experiences. This role oversees multiple departments and is accountable for performance, scalability, efficiency, employee development, and organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee all company operations across multiple markets and business units.
- Develop and implement operational strategies that support company growth and profitability.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across departments.
- Ensure consistent execution of company standards, policies, and procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.
- Lead and mentor department heads and senior managers.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with ownership to establish long-term strategic goals and objectives.
- Lead implementation of company-wide initiatives and special projects.
- Support expansion into new markets, services, and business ventures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
- Progressive leadership experience, including senior operational management responsibilities.
- Proven track record of managing multi-department operations and leading large teams.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Proficiency with business systems, reporting tools, and operational technology platforms.
