Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and performance-driven Healthcare Operations Director to oversee and optimize the productivity of our internal Long-Term Care (LTC) Account Management team (7-8 direct reports). This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, tracking key performance metrics, and ensuring consistent execution across the genetic testing operational lifecycle.
The ideal candidate combines strong people management, analytical skills with hands-on operational support experience in a healthcare or regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly production of LTC Account Managers to ensure performance targets are met
- Develop, track, and report on KPIs including pipeline activity, conversion rates, revenue performance, and client engagement
- Implement and optimize sales processes, workflows, and CRM utilization
- Partner with sales leadership to identify performance gaps and implement improvement strategies
- Provide coaching support, accountability tracking, and performance feedback tools for Account Managers
- Manage lead distribution, territory alignment, and account assignment strategies
- Collaborate cross-functionally with compliance, billing, and clinical laboratory teams to ensure seamless operations
- Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations and internal compliance standards
- Prepare and present performance reports and insights to senior leadership
- Support onboarding and training of new Account Managers
Qualifications:
- Proven ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies
- Experience managing or supporting a team with measurable performance outcomes
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment
Preferred (not required) Qualifications:
- Experience in long-term care, laboratory services, or healthcare services industry
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance considerations in healthcare sales
