Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Product Sourcing Specialist to identify, evaluate, and secure products and supplier partnerships that support our quality, pricing, and inventory objectives.

This role plays a key part in helping Ford Medical deliver exceptional value to our customers through strategic sourcing, strong vendor relationships, and reliable product availability. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, skilled negotiator, and problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Research and identify new products, suppliers, and sourcing opportunities
  • Obtain and compare quotations, samples, and product specifications
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and purchasing agreements with suppliers
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and manufacturers
  • Monitor market trends, pricing changes, and supply chain developments
  • Collaborate with leadership and internal teams on purchasing decisions
  • Ensure products meet company quality, cost, and service standards
  • Maintain accurate supplier, pricing, and product records
  • Support inventory planning and supply continuity initiatives
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve cost efficiency, service levels, and supplier performance


Requirements

  • Experience in sourcing, procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or vendor management preferred
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent organizational and analytical abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and supplier relationships simultaneously
  • Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to team success
