Creative Marketing Coordinator – Event, Social Media & PR Focus
A kosher food branding company in Jersey City is seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and creative Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional with a passion for event coordination, social media management, and public relations. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our marketing efforts, driving brand visibility, and ensuring engaging, consistent communication across multiple channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Public Relations & Communications: Assist in the development of press materials, including press releases, media kits, and promotional content. Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, bloggers, and influencers to drive positive media coverage and brand mentions.
- Event Research, Planning & Execution: Research and identify existing events that align with our brand and present strong opportunities for collaboration and sponsorship. Reach out to event organizers to establish partnerships, coordinate logistics, and oversee all aspects of planning to ensure seamless execution of consumer-facing experiences.
- Social media & Digital Presence: Manage and grow the company’s social media platforms by curating engaging content, scheduling posts, and monitoring audience interaction. Lead digital marketing campaigns that drive engagement and brand awareness.
- Design & Brand Consistency: Create cohesive branded experiences for both digital and print, including social media visuals, event collateral, email campaigns, and other marketing materials. Ensure that all assets align with the company’s brand identity.
- Content Creation & Campaign Support: Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to develop content for advertising, email campaigns, and product promotions. Support the team in the creation of presentations and marketing materials for clients, events, and POS (point of sale).
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, merchandising, and creative teams to align marketing initiatives and deliverables, ensuring projects are executed efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Vendor & Agency Relations: Manage relationships with external vendors, printers, and other partners to execute marketing strategies and produce high-quality merchandise materials.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in event coordination, social media management, and PR strategies.
- Strong creative design skills with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in food branding or the food industry is a plus!
