M&D Capital, a highly successful and fast growing medical billing company based in Queens, New York is looking for responsible, organized and knowledgeable Medical Biller. M&D Capital provides revenue cycle management and billing services to numerous highly respected medical providers in the Tri-State area and is swiftly expanding to service providers nationwide.

Medical Biller

Roles & Responsibilities:

Strong communication skills and is comfortable speaking to physician offices

Possess familiarity of physician billing, ICD-10, CPT coding.

Analyzes provider documentation to assure the appropriate Evaluation & Management levels are assigned using the correct CPT code.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience & Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year of, billing, and/or charge entry experience in the healthcare field

Electronic billing submission knowledge

Knowledge of coding and clinic operating policies.

Knowledge of third party billing procedures across a variety of payer systems.

Solid skill with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel

Experience with Epic a huge plus

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Position:

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Commensurate with experience starting at $25.00 per hour - $33.00

8 hour shift

Day shift

Monday to Friday
