Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and develop individualized treatment plans for students with physical impairments or disabilities.
- Implement therapeutic exercises and activities to improve students’ mobility and physical function.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to create a holistic approach to student care.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Provide education and training to students, staff, and families on injury prevention and physical health.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and staff.
- Experience working with children or in an educational setting is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
