A Lakewood, NJ company is hiring a hands-on tech lead to architect and build a full-stack, cloud-native platform for a high-growth venture. Candidate will lead the development of a modern web application featuring complex data pipelines, high-volume transaction processing, and strict focus on data integrity, security, and scalability. The tech stack includes Python (FastAPI), React, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, Terraform, and AWS-native services, with CI/CD managed through GitHub Actions. This role is perfect for someone who codes daily, leads by example, and prioritizes clean architecture, test coverage, and maintainability. Candidate will run the system end-to-end, from backend to frontend, data design to deployment. Candidate must have 5+ years of engineering/coding experience, including 2+ years as a lead. Looking for someone with a proven track record managing multiple software projects and distributed sub-teams. Candidate must have also have strong technical expertise in Python, React.js, and cloud-native AWS development. Looking for someone with a background in finetech. Option for a hybrid setup. Benefits include PTO and holiday/vacation pay. Salary is commensurate with experience and hours.
