Position Summary

The Accounts Receivable Director is a senior leadership role responsible for management and oversight of the entire Accounts Receivable process for our portfolio of Skilled Nursing Facilities in multiple states.

Responsibilities Include

• Management of corporate, regional, and facility A/R staff.
• Management and oversight of Billing, Collections, projections and reconciliations, A/R integration into Financials, including month-end close and analysis of bad debt.
• Monitoring receivables and aging reports, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance.

Qualifications

• Required to have a minimum 10+ years experience in Healthcare Accounts Receivable as an A/R Director for a portfolio of Skilled Nursing Facilities.
• Experience with Healthcare billing systems, common working files, Medicare, Medicaid, managed care billing, resident liability, renewal, Medicaid Pending, resident trust management, and familiarity with CMS regulations.
• The ability to multi-task between projects, payer types, and month-end-close deadlines.
• Strong month-end-close experience.
• Attention to detail and the ability to understand, problem solve, track, and verbalize troubled/growing accounts and payor types.
• Management experience.
• A positive attitude and a willingness to work with business office managers and manage staff.
• Strong computer and communication skills.
• Able to communicate with confidence to executive leaders.
