About LBAPS

LBAPS is dedicated to serving children with special needs across the nation. Our mission is to empower families and improve lives through compassionate, innovative support and services. As we continue to grow, we’re expanding our team to strengthen operational efficiency and scale our impact.

About the Role

We’re looking for a driven, systems-minded Automation & Integrations Engineer to lead the development of our internal automation infrastructure. In this role, you’ll transform manual workflows into efficient, reliable, and scalable systems that save time, reduce errors, and enhance productivity.

You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams—including marketing, sales, operations, and content—to design and implement automations that streamline key processes and help us better serve children and families.

This is a hands-on, on-site role within our operations team, ideal for someone passionate about solving problems through technology and automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test, and maintain automation workflows using tools like Zapier, Make.com, n8n, Workato, Power Automate, or custom scripting
  • Develop and manage bots (e.g., chatbots, outreach bots, internal tools) for tasks such as lead qualification, data entry, follow-ups, and scheduling
  • Automate content and outreach pipelines, including email sequences, CRM updates, social media scheduling, and content distribution
  • Integrate telephony systems and APIs for call logging and workflow automations
  • Design data capture systems to collect, normalize, and sync data across CRMs, spreadsheets, and databases
  • Build dashboards, monitoring systems, and error handling for all automations
  • Audit and optimize existing workflows for performance and reliability
  • Create clear documentation for all automations, logic, and dependencies
  • Collaborate with business teams to identify new automation opportunities
  • Train non-technical staff to use and manage automations safely
  • Stay up to date with new tools, APIs, and best practices in automation

Qualifications

  • Proven experience creating automations using Zapier, Make.com, n8n, or similar platforms
  • Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, HTTP requests, and JSON
  • Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills
  • Experience integrating multiple SaaS platforms (CRMs, email tools, databases, etc.)
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ownership mentality
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
