Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior CAD Designer to lead Civil 3D production for land development projects while overseeing CAD standards, quality control, and junior staff. This role combines hands-on design work with team leadership and project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Produce Civil 3D drawings for land development projects
• Manage and prioritize CAD workloads
• Supervise and mentor junior CAD staff
• Maintain CAD standards, templates, and best practices
• Perform QA/QC reviews of drawings
• Prepare grading plans, utility layouts, and earthwork analysis
• Coordinate with engineers and project teams

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of land development CAD experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Experience with grading, utilities, roadways, and site design
• Civil 3D surfaces, alignments, profiles, and pipe networks
• AutoTurn / Vehicle Tracking experience a plus

Strong attention to detail and leadership skills
