Speech Therapist – LBAPS

Location: Flatbush, Brooklyn, NY

Department: Clinical / Educational Services

Schedule: Full-Time | On-site

Position Summary:

LBAPS is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Therapist to provide speech and language services to students. This role involves conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to support communication development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service providers
• Maintain accurate documentation and monitor student progress
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
• Active NY State licensure and SLP certification required
• Experience working with children, preferably in educational settings
• Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
