Role Overview
The Revenue & Growth Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the company’s entire revenue engine, including sales pipeline management, revenue reporting, market intelligence, and marketing coordination.
This role ensures that all sales opportunities are properly tracked, actively pursued, and aligned with the company’s strategic priorities. The position works closely with the sales team and leadership to maintain discipline across the pipeline, provide accurate forecasting, and guide where the organization should focus its efforts for future growth.
While this role does not involve direct selling or customer negotiations, the Revenue & Growth Manager carries accountability for the overall performance of the sales pipeline and marketing initiatives. The role ensures that the company’s sales team is pursuing the right opportunities, maintaining momentum across active deals, and that leadership has clear visibility into revenue performance and market trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Pipeline Management & Sales Accountability
- Maintain full visibility and discipline across the company’s sales pipeline.
- Ensure all opportunities are properly tracked and actively managed within the CRM system.
- Identify stalled opportunities and work with the sales team to advance them.
- Run regular pipeline review meetings and maintain accountability for follow-ups and next steps.
Revenue Reporting & Forecasting
- Build and maintain reporting dashboards that track pipeline value, deal stages, forecasted revenue, and conversion rates.
- Provide weekly and monthly revenue reports to leadership.
- Maintain accurate revenue forecasting based on pipeline data and project timelines.
Sales Strategy & Opportunity Prioritization
- Analyze pipeline data to help determine which projects, markets, and customers should be prioritized.
- Work with leadership to guide where the sales team should focus efforts.
- Ensure the company is pursuing the most strategic and high-value opportunities.
Marketing Oversight
- Coordinate marketing initiatives and ensure alignment between marketing activities and sales pipeline growth.
- Track marketing performance including lead generation, campaign effectiveness, and contribution to the pipeline.
- Evaluate industry trade shows and events to determine which conferences and exhibitions the company should attend or sponsor.
- Track leads, relationships, and opportunities generated from each trade show and measure the return on investment of these events.
- Maintain organized records of contacts and opportunities developed through trade shows and ensure proper follow-up with the sales team.
- Support industry outreach, market visibility, and strategic marketing initiatives.
Market Intelligence
- Monitor industry trends, hotel development activity, and competitor positioning.
- Identify emerging opportunities and provide strategic insights that support revenue growth.
- Maintain awareness of key developers, ownership groups, and construction trends in the hospitality sector.
