Location: Brooklyn, NY

Schedule: Full Time (Preferred) – 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Open to Part Time (Morning Session or Afternoon Session)

Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 based on experience

A Special Education School in Brooklyn is seeking a Bilingual School Social Worker (English/Yiddish) for the upcoming school year.

This role supports students’ emotional, behavioral, and social development while working closely with families and staff.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide counseling and emotional support to students
2. Support students with behavioral and social challenges
3. Collaborate with teachers and administrators to support student success
4. Communicate with families regarding student progress and support strategies
5. Maintain documentation and case records

Qualifications

1. Master’s Degree in Social Work
2. LMSW or LCSW preferred
3. Fluent in English and Yiddish
4. Experience working with children or in school settings preferred
