Location: Brooklyn, NY

Schedule: Full Time (Preferred) – 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Open to Part Time (Morning Session or Afternoon Session)

Salary: $75,000

A Special Education School in Brooklyn is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist for the upcoming school year. The school provides a warm, collaborative, and mission-driven environment focused on helping students reach their full potential.

The Occupational Therapist will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide therapeutic services that support students’ motor, sensory, and functional development within the classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide occupational therapy services to students in individual and small group settings
2. Develop and implement individualized therapy goals based on students’ needs
3. Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and support staff to support student development
4. Maintain documentation and progress reports in accordance with school guidelines
5. Support students in developing skills needed for classroom participation and independence

Qualifications

1. Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
2. New York State OT license
3. Experience working with children or in school settings preferred
4. Strong collaboration and communication skills
