Job Description

A growing Mental Health Clinic is seeking a highly organized and compassionate Bilingual Secretary / Intake Coordinator (English/Yiddish) to join our team full-time in office.

This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, professional, and comfortable communicating with both patients and providers in a fast-paced clinical environment. The candidate will play a key role in supporting daily operations, coordinating care, and ensuring a smooth intake and onboarding experience for patients.

Responsibilities

  • Answer phones and communicate with patients professionally and compassionately
  • Coordinate scheduling between patients and providers
  • Manage patient intake and onboarding processes
  • Review and organize documentation and intake forms
  • Maintain accurate records and update patient information
  • Assist with administrative and office coordination tasks
  • Communicate with providers regarding scheduling, documentation, and patient updates
  • Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in all patient interactions
  • Support daily clinic operations and workflow management

Qualifications
  • Fluent in English and Yiddish (required)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent reading comprehension and communication abilities
  • Comfortable handling documentation and administrative tasks
  • Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced office environment
  • Prior medical office, mental health, or administrative experience preferred
