Part-Time Afternoon General Studies Teacher

A Chasidish school in Williamsburg, Brooklyn is seeking a part-time afternoon General Studies Teacher for 6th and 7th grade students.

This is a steady afternoon teaching role in a supportive school environment with well-behaved students.

The teacher will teach general studies subjects including reading, writing, and math.

Responsibilities

1. Teach reading, writing and math.
2. Create engaging lessons using projects, games, and creative activities
3. Maintain strong classroom management
4. Provide a warm, firm, and structured classroom environment
5. Communicate clearly with the principal

Qualifications

1. Classroom management skills required
2. At least 1 year of teaching or classroom experience preferred
3. Bachelor’s degree preferred
4. Must be reliable, trustworthy, and able to provide references
5. Strong communication skills
