Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Personally coordinate large, complex commercial transactions from start to finish
  • Serve as the primary point of accountability throughout the transaction lifecycle
  • Identify and resolve obstacles before they become problems
  • Build strong relationships with clients, attorneys, lenders, brokers, and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure transactions move efficiently toward successful closings
  • Maintain exceptional attention to detail while managing multiple moving parts
  • Communicate clearly and proactively throughout every stage of a transaction
  • Help establish operational processes and infrastructure for future growth
  • Contribute to the long-term development and leadership of the national commercial division

Who You Are

We care less about titles and more about reputation.

The ideal candidate:

  • Takes complete ownership of their work
  • Solves problems rather than escalating them
  • Communicates effectively, especially in challenging situations
  • Earns trust quickly with clients, attorneys, and teammates
  • Maintains exceptionally high standards
  • Notices details that others overlook
  • Is proactive and self-directed
  • Thrives under pressure and remains composed when deals become complicated

Most importantly, you are the person others want involved when a transaction becomes difficult.

Required Experience

Candidates must have substantial experience coordinating large, complex commercial real estate transactions.

You must be able to demonstrate multiple commercial transactions exceeding $100 million in value that you personally managed from beginning to end.

During the interview process, candidates should be prepared to discuss specific transactions they directly coordinated, including:

  • Property addresses
  • Transaction size
  • States involved
  • Deal structure
  • Major obstacles encountered
  • Your specific role in bringing the transaction to a successful closing

We are not seeking someone who merely participated in large transactions.

We are seeking someone who owned them.

If you cannot clearly demonstrate multiple $100M+ commercial transactions that you personally coordinated from start to finish, this role is likely not the right fit.

Preferred Qualifications

The following experience is highly desirable:

  • Multi-state commercial transaction experience
  • Texas commercial transaction experience
  • Texas Escrow Officer License
  • Attorney background (JD)
