ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly experienced FBA Buyer to join our growing e-commerce team. This is a senior-level position responsible for identifying profitable purchasing opportunities, sourcing inventory, negotiating supplier relationships, and driving revenue growth across e-commerce marketplaces. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of sourcing profitable products, managing supplier relationships, analyzing product performance, and scaling purchasing operations. We are looking for someone who thinks like an owner, understands margins and cash flow, and can independently identify opportunities that drive growth and profitability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Source profitable products and brands for Amazon FBA and other e-commerce marketplaces
- Develop and maintain relationships with wholesalers, distributors, manufacturers, and brand partners
- Identify new sourcing opportunities through market research, supplier outreach, trade networks, and industry contacts
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, rebates, exclusivity agreements, and purchasing contracts
- Analyze product profitability, ROI, margins, sales velocity, competition, and market trends
- Monitor inventory levels and purchasing forecasts to ensure healthy stock levels and maximize cash flow
- Evaluate supplier performance and continuously improve purchasing efficiency
- Conduct product research using third-party analytics tools
- Collaborate with operations and leadership teams to support company growth initiatives
- Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier information, and profitability reporting
- Take full ownership of assigned categories and continuously seek opportunities for expansion and increased profitability
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of purchasing, sourcing, buying, procurement, wholesale, distribution, or Amazon FBA experience
- Demonstrated success sourcing profitable products for wholesale distribution, or large-scale e-commerce operations
- Strong understanding of Amazon Seller Central and FBA operations
- Experience using sourcing and analytics tools such as Keepa, SellerAmp (SAS), Helium 10, Jungle Scout, or similar platforms
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets proficiency
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and make data-driven decisions
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience managing significant annual purchasing volume
- Experience building direct relationships with brands and manufacturers
- Experience scaling Amazon FBA operations
- Experience with multi-channel e-commerce and marketplace sales
- Background in category management, inventory planning, or supply chain operations
