Job Description

A Brooklyn, NY healthcare company is hiring a senior accountant. This position is not for someone who worked as a tax accountant. Looking for someone extremely driven with an excellent work ethic. Job includes taking ownership of the day-to-day accounting including journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly analyses, accounts payables, and managing cash and treasury banking.

Requirements

• The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of accounting experience
• Strong technical skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Huge plus if the candidate has done accounting for a company that has multiple entities in multiple locations
• No CPA is required
• Must have QuickBooks and Excel experience

Work Schedule

• Option to work in the office 4 days/week
• Work from home 1 day/week

Salary
Salary is commensurate with experience and hours.

Mon-Thurs, 9 am-5 pm (must work until 5 pm)
Fri, 9 am-1/2 pm
