Job Description

We are looking for a Software Engineer to help build and expand the technology that powers our growing organization.

This role will work directly with leadership to develop internal applications, automate operational workflows, integrate with external platforms, and build scalable proprietary technology.

A major focus of this role will also be helping us expand our use of AI and develop AI powered technology across the organization.

We are looking for someone who is highly technical but also practical. You should be comfortable understanding a business problem, designing a solution, and building it from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain internal software applications
• Develop scalable proprietary software and internal technology
• Develop applications and backend services using C# and .NET
• Design, query, optimize, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases
• Build and maintain APIs and integrations with external platforms
• Develop secure backend services, databases, APIs, and user facing applications
• Build automated workflows that reduce manual work and improve operational efficiency
• Help design and develop AI powered applications, tools, and automation
• Identify opportunities where AI can improve existing systems and business processes
• Work with large datasets and complex SQL queries
• Develop and maintain integrations with reporting and analytics tools
• Troubleshoot system failures, data issues, integration problems, and performance bottlenecks
• Work directly with leadership and operations to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Maintain strong application and data security practices

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong professional experience with C# and .NET
• Strong Microsoft SQL Server experience
• Strong backend development experience
• Experience developing APIs and integrating third party systems
• Experience building web based applications
• Strong understanding of databases, system architecture, authentication, and data security
• Ability to independently troubleshoot complex technical and data problems
• Experience with cloud infrastructure such as Azure or AWS
• Experience with Git and modern software development practices
• Strong interest in developing and implementing AI powered technology
• Ability to take ownership of projects from initial concept through production

A Plus, But Not Required

• Healthcare technology experience
• Healthcare revenue cycle experience
• Experience working with healthcare software, systems, or data
• Power BI or business intelligence experience
• Previous experience developing AI powered applications or integrating AI into existing software
