Job Overview

A 5 Towns, NY company is hiring a junior controller. Job includes owning the day-to-day accounting, the full monthly close, and financial statement preparation across a diverse portfolio spanning multiple industries. Candidate will work closely with the ownership and accounts payable, payroll, and tax accounting teams to manage bookkeeping, reconciliations, transaction and payroll imports, accruals, and opening entries for new acquisitions while improving processes and strengthening financial controls. This role offers room to grow into broader financial leadership including CFO related duties like budgeting and cash-flow forecasting based on demonstrated capabilities, performance, and business needs.
