Overview

We are seeking a highly capable and hands-on Senior Controller for a family office managing a diverse portfolio of operating businesses across multiple industries. This role requires a sharp, organized, and hardworking individual who can take full ownership of financial oversight across numerous businesses.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple companies simultaneously, ensuring seamless transitions between businesses while maintaining attention to detail.
• Collaborate directly with existing controllers to guarantee accurate financial reporting, accountability, and operational efficiency.
• Report directly to ownership and engage in regular interactions to provide updates and insights.
• Utilize a strong understanding of financial statements, taxes, tax structures, and cash flow to inform decision-making.
• Demonstrate excellent organizational skills to manage competing priorities effectively.
• Exhibit extreme attention to detail and a hands-on approach to financial management.
• Provide strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and follow-through on initiatives.

Requirements

• 5–10+ years of senior accounting/controller experience.
• Proven ability to manage multiple businesses and maintain oversight of financial operations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Compensation

The salary for this position ranges from $200,000 to $300,000, commensurate with experience.

Location

This position is based in Monsey, NY and requires in-office attendance.
