A remote, part-time Accountant is sought to support tax and accounting work for a growing practice. Well suited to someone comfortable working independently, managing deadlines, and handling client tax work with accuracy and care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual and business tax returns
• Work in UltraTax and Drake to prepare, file, and track returns
• Maintain accurate client records and supporting workpapers
• Assist with tax planning, estimates, and compliance deadlines
• Communicate clearly on outstanding items and filing status

• Proven accounting experience, preferably with tax preparation
• UltraTax — required
• Drake — required
• Strong knowledge of tax rules, forms, and filing requirements
• Reliable, organized, and able to meet seasonal deadlines
