Trainee Site Manager – On-Site Plumbing Projects

Location: Brooklyn, NY

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000 – $60,000 per year (based on experience)

A fast-paced Brooklyn-based plumbing company is seeking a Trainee Site Manager to support and eventually lead on-site operations for residential and commercial plumbing jobs. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with plumbing experience who’s ready to take the next step in their career.

This is a high-growth opportunity that can lead to a senior-level career in plumbing site management. We provide premium, real-world training for experienced plumbers and emerging leaders who want to advance into project oversight and management.

You’ll work directly on job sites, assisting foremen and crews while learning how to manage daily operations. The ideal candidate understands plumbing and is comfortable using technology to stay organized and communicate effectively. Fluency in Yiddish or Spanish is a plus.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Under the guidance of senior managers, you'll support and gradually take on site management duties, including:

  • Assisting in overseeing crews and maintaining job progress
  • Monitoring quality and installation standards
  • Coordinating materials and equipment on-site
  • Communicating with management, foremen, and other trades
  • Using email, WhatsApp, and other digital tools for updates and documentation
  • Tracking time and ensuring job site records are accurate
  • Assisting with inspections and job closeouts
  • Staying alert to site needs and addressing issues proactively


Qualifications:

  • Basic plumbing experience. More experience is a plus
  • Comfortable with smartphones, email, and messaging apps like WhatsApp
  • Strong multitasking and coordination skills
  • Organized, reliable, and eager to learn and grow
  • Clear and professional communicator
  • Spanish or Yiddish fluency is a plus
  • OSHA 40 certification is a plus (or willing to obtain)
