Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team.
Minimum of 5 years of experience. Preferably in large residential & commercial buildings.
The ideal candidate will have an educated, strong, & successful background in HVAC.
This role involves installing, maintaining, & repairing HVAC systems in residential & commercial properties.
The HVAC Technician will also be responsible for troubleshooting & ensuring optimal system performance.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, & repair HVAC systems including: A/C units, Heat Pumps, Chillers, Boilers, Water-Cooled systems, VRFs, VFDs, & Refrigeration systems.
Conduct routine inspections & preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure efficient operation.
Troubleshoot & diagnose issues using wiring diagrams, schematics, & technical manuals.
Perform equipment repairs or replacements when necessary; including plumbing & electrical components.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively & in a respectful manner, with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
Maintain accurate records of jobs & work performed, including pictures, service reports, & maintenance logs. (Pictures are so important, it’s hard to express)
Adhere to safety protocols while working on job sites to ensure a safe work environment.
Skills
Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC/R systems.
Proficiency in reading schematics & understanding HVAC design principles.
Experience as a service technician with a focus on field service operations.
Ability to perform appliance repair tasks related to HVAC systems.
Communication is extremely important. We need technicians who communicate well with others (office, coworkers, & clients).
Must be an achiever, a go-getter & a hustler.
One who possess the passion & drive to work in this field.
Ability to perform tasks requiring physical strength (50 + Lbs.).
Required licenses & certificates:
Clean Driving Record.
EPA - Section 608.
OSHA 30 or OSHA 40.
NYC Fire Department Certificate for Fireguard: F-60.
NYC Fire Department Certificate for Torch Use of Flammable Gases: G-60.
