Job Description
Why Join Us? Are you a sharp leader with strong digital skills looking for a team that values your leadership over years of wrenching experience? We are a fast-growing, tech-forward automotive center looking for an energetic Shop Manager to lead our daily operations, drive workflow efficiency, and elevate our client experience.
You don’t need to be a Master Technician to succeed here—if you are highly organized, tech-savvy, and know how to lead a team, we will train you on the rest.
What Makes This Role Great
- Built-in Support: You won't be doing it all alone. You'll work directly alongside a dedicated Shop Receiver and a Front-Facing Service Advisor who handles primary customer check-ins, allowing you to focus on leading the shop, managing workflow, and growing the business.
- Modern Operations: Say goodbye to paper-heavy, outdated systems. We utilize modern shop management software to streamline digital administrative tasks, inventory, and estimate formulation.
- Clear Growth Path: Continuous hands-on training and clear performance incentives designed for long-term career success.
Key Responsibilities
- Workflow & Team Leadership: Direct daily shop operations, coordinate mechanic schedules, assign jobs, and optimize throughput to hit shop efficiency targets.
- Transparent Service Estimating: Utilize modern digital shop management software to build, refine, and present clear, accurate repair estimates to clients.
- Operations & Inventory: Oversee shop cleanliness, manage parts/inventory tracking, and maintain seamless digital administrative records.
- Client & Team Communication: Support the front-of-house team by providing elevated service, answering detailed inquiries, and delivering status updates to customers when needed.
Qualifications
- Tech-Literate & Adaptable: Highly proficient with modern software, email, web tools, and fast to pick up new digital platforms.
- Proven Leadership: Strong background managing teams, delegating tasks, and maintaining composure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong Communicator: Clear, articulate verbal and written communication skills.
- Industry Experience: Automotive background is a major plus, but prior leadership in retail, hospitality, or logistics with a strong willingness to learn auto service is fully welcome.
