Rock Daycare

The Rock Daycare is a home-based, OCFS-licensed family daycare in the Upper East Side, open Monday to Friday 8 am to 6 pm.

Job Summary

We are looking for Teachers and Caregivers to teach and care for preschool children and infants.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children, supporting their developmental milestones, and fostering a love for learning. This role involves implementing curriculum, managing classroom activities, and providing individualized attention to meet the diverse needs of students.

Experience with children, early childhood education, and classroom management are essential to success in this position.

Duties

• Lead children through daily schedule (Circle Time, Wonder Time, Dance Time, Outdoor Playground)
• Plan and lead engaging lesson plans that promote active learning and curiosity among infants and preschool children
• Manage classroom activities to ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment conducive to learning and growth
• Prepare Kosher food in home kitchen
• Collaborate with parents and other educators to support each child's welfare and educational journey
• Ensure compliance with all OCFS regulations, safety protocols, and licensing requirements
