Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technician (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The BT will work directly with children, particularly those with autism and other developmental disorders, to implement behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. This role is crucial in providing support and fostering positive behavioral changes in clients, ensuring their overall well-being and progress.
Duties
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress towards goals.
- Assist clients with daily living skills and promote independence through structured activities.
- Provide direct support in various settings, including home, school, and community environments.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality.
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to reinforce strategies and techniques at home.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss client progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills in behavioral therapy.
