The Blanche Kahn Clinic is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Therapist to provide meaningful mental health support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). The Details:

1. Location: Flatbush
2. Schedule: Full and Part Time schedules available.
3. Compensation: Competitive pay with clinical supervision for pre-licensed candidates!

What You’ll Be Doing:

1. Providing individual and/or group therapy to adults and children with I/DD.
2. Adapting therapeutic modalities to meet the unique cognitive and communication needs of our clients.
3. Collaborating closely with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary care teams to support holistic well-being.

What We’re Looking For:

1. A Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
2. Not yet licensed? No problem! We welcome pre-licensed candidates and provide the clinical supervision needed for your hours.
3. Prior experience working with the I/DD population is a strong plus, but absolutely not required—we are happy to train the right candidate who brings empathy and a willingness to learn.
4. Strong communication skills and a patient, strengths-based approach to care.
