Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Director to lead our early childhood education program. The ideal candidate will have a deep love for working with children, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to creating a nurturing, safe, and educational environment for both children and staff.

As the Preschool Director, you will oversee daily operations, ensure the safety and development of students, and foster a collaborative, positive atmosphere for the entire team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and inspire a team of educators and staff to provide high-quality early childhood education.
  • Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for young children.
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that supports intellectual, emotional, social, and physical growth.
  • Foster strong relationships with children, parents, and staff, serving as a primary point of communication.
  • Monitor and evaluate children’s progress, adjusting strategies to meet individual needs.
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations, licensing requirements, and safety standards.
  • Manage administrative tasks including scheduling, budgeting, staffing, and reporting.
  • Conduct staff training and professional development to enhance teaching practices.
  • Promote an inclusive, diverse, and respectful learning environment.
  • Engage with the local community to build partnerships that benefit the preschool.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience working with young children in an educational setting.
  • Previous leadership or management experience in early childhood education preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for children’s growth and development.
  • Knowledge of early childhood education best practices and state regulations.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and support a team.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
