About the Role

We are seeking a Lead Preschool Teacher to guide classroom instruction and mentor assistant teachers in our Midwood location. This role is ideal for an experienced early childhood educator ready to take a leadership role in the classroom.

Responsibilities

1. Lead classroom instruction and design daily activities for preschool-age children
2. Develop age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early learning standards
3. Supervise, mentor, and coordinate the work of assistant teachers
4. Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and milestones
5. Maintain a safe, engaging, and structured classroom environment
6. Monitor and document student development and social-emotional growth
7. Ensure compliance with licensing and health/safety requirements

Qualifications

1. Experience in early childhood education, with prior lead teacher experience preferred
2. Strong leadership, communication, and classroom management skills
3. Patience, creativity, and genuine passion for working with young children
4. Relevant early childhood education credentials preferred
