LBAPS is a rapidly growing ABA organization committed to expanding access to life-changing Applied Behavior Analysis services for children with autism and related developmental needs.
We are seeking an experienced **Program Director** to lead the growth and external operations of a DOE-funded special education program serving students with **autism spectrum disorder and ADHD** within general education settings in private schools.
The program’s instruction and behavior support are BCBA-driven. The Program Director will serve as the outward-facing leader, ensuring the program remains fully enrolled, properly staffed, well represented, and thoroughly documented.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive recruitment, marketing, and enrollment growth
- Represent the program in due process and impartial hearings and testify as needed
- Attend IEP meetings and represent the program’s position on services and mandates
- Serve as the point of contact for parents, school and district administration, evaluators, related-service agencies, counsel, and funding sources
- Oversee intake, enrollment, scheduling, data collection, documentation, billing, and reporting systems
- Select, implement, and maintain practice-management, data-collection, CRM, HR, and document-storage platforms
- Train staff on consistent use of operational systems
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; master’s in Special Education, ABA, Psychology, Business, or a related field preferred
- 3–5+ years of leadership, business development, or program administration experience, ideally in special education, ABA, or human services
- Working knowledge of IEP/IESP processes, DOE funding structures, due process/impartial hearings, and special education regulations
- Proven success in recruitment, enrollment growth, or marketing
- Experience building and managing operational systems and workflows
- Willingness to testify at impartial hearings; hearing or deposition experience is a plus
- Strong writing skills and ability to review clinical and educational documentation
- Excellent interpersonal skills and credibility with families, administrators, and attorneys
