Job Description
We’re looking for a creative, disciplined, and driven Chef/Kitchen Manager to lead the kitchen of our upscale kosher steakhouse/bistro. This is a unique opportunity to help shape a high-end culinary experience and execute our menu while respecting kosher guidelines. You’ll have the autonomy to lead, the support to succeed, and the platform to help build something meaningful.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee a upscale kosher menu
- Lead BOH operations: ordering, inventory, prep systems, waste control
- Hire, train, and manage BOH team
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen
- Work closely with ownership/management on costs, strategy, and guest satisfaction
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years as a Chef or Sous Chef in a full-service, upscale restaurant.
- Experience with ordering, costing, prep systems, and staff management
- Strong leadership, kitchen systems, and line management experience
- Open-minded, creative — while being able to work within kosher standard
- Steakhouse, bistro, or Mediterranean background
