One Israel Fund is the leading North American nonprofit providing humanitarian aid to Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria and Israel’s border regions, supporting over 200 impactful projects annually.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Controller to oversee financial operations, ensure nonprofit compliance, and support our mission through strong financial management. This role is full-time and on-site in the Five Towns of Long Island.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and oversee financial records in compliance with nonprofit standards
• Manage QuickBooks and reconcile with CRM software (DonorPerfect)
• Prepare financial reports, budgets, and donor reporting
• Process wires, checks, and expense documentation
• Support annual audits and ensure regulatory compliance
• Monitor cash flow and assist with financial planning

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Nonprofit accounting experience; familiarity with IRS Form 990 preferred
• Proficiency in QuickBooks; DonorPerfect experience a plus
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
