Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Clerk to assist with recordkeeping and some bookkeeping across multiple programs and help maintain accurate financial and administrative records. This position is ideal for someone who is tech-savvy, dependable, and comfortable managing a variety of organizational tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Position Details
- Approximately 8-10 hours per week
- Some evening hours preferred
- Hybrid position (remote and in-person)
- Located near Nostrand Avenue and Eastern Parkway in Brooklyn
- Pay: $22-25 per hour based on experience
Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize financial and administrative records
- Enter and reconcile data using QuickBooks
- Assist with bookkeeping and expense tracking
- Maintain orderly digital and physical filing systems
- Support multiple programs with organization and record management
- Prepare trend reports, spreadsheets, and documentation as needed
- Help ensure accuracy and timely completion of tasks
Qualifications
- QuickBooks experience a plus
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Highly tech-savvy
- Detail-oriented
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
- Ability to work independently and follow through on assignments
- Strong communication skills
Preferred
- Prior bookkeeping or office administration experience
- Experience managing records across multiple programs or departments
- Experience with the following application platforms-Workbright, Smartsheets, Dragon, Indeed, Quickbooks.
