Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Daily time entry accounting for at least 80% of hours clocked in.
- Maintain and update technical documentation in IT Glue.
- Assist and guide Jr. Engineers on troubleshooting steps; serve as an escalation point for service tickets.
- Configure and manage Windows Server:
- File, print, and remote access services.
- File permissions, event logs, backups/restores.
- Administer enterprise email applications (Exchange/Office 365):
- Add/remove users and groups, configure permissions, aliases, and forwarding rules.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot:
- MS Office Suite applications.
- Standard POP, SMTP & Exchange clients (including Outlook).
- Workstation hardware (video cards, NICs, sound cards, drives, PDAs).
- Network configuration & troubleshooting:
- TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs, routing, firewalling.
- Routers, firewalls (SonicWALL, FortiGate), wireless technologies.
- Switches, hubs, patch panels, and network node connectivity.
- Support and troubleshoot Citrix & Windows RDP environments.
- Perform data backup and recovery; maintain corporate antivirus and VPN connectivity.
- Provide accurate time estimates for tasks and ensure complete resolution.
- Maintain a professional, client-focused approach—no problem is considered too small.

Qualifications
- Required:
- CompTIA A+ certification.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Minimum 2 years of IT experience (hardware, software, networking, security).
- Preferred:
- Network+, Security+, MS-900 or AZ-900, MCP, CCNA/CCDA/CCNP, Project+, Apple certifications.
- 2+ years’ experience with VLANs, routing, firewall support, server hardware (CPU/RAID/SCSI), mobile messaging tech.
- 5+ years’ experience in an MSP environment (for senior-level consideration).
- Experience with Citrix & Windows RDP environments.
