Job Description
A licensed behavioral health organization is seeking a full-time Compliance Officer to join our QA & Compliance team. Prior compliance experience preferred but not required. Strong preference given to those with clinical, administrative or QA experience in a regulated healthcare environment. Strong growth opportunity for the right candidate who will eventually transition to the Compliance Director position.
You'll be trained directly by our Senior Compliance Officer, covering all relevant regulatory frameworks, chart auditing, and incident reporting.
What You'll Do:
- Conduct chart audits and documentation reviews for OMH, OASAS, CFTSS, and HCBS compliance
- Support incident reporting in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Maintain up-to-date policies and procedures for all programs
- Coordinate staff training and track corrective action plans
- Maintain compliance documentation and reporting logs
- Prepare quarterly reports to the Executive Director and governing board
- Play an active role in the compliance and QA committees, analyzing data and suggesting improvements
