Job Description

Rego Park Counseling is a multi-program behavioral health organization based in Queens, serving diverse communities through OMH- and OASAS-funded programs. We are seeking a full-time Director of Human Resources to manage and oversee HR operations across all programs.

Responsibilities include:

• Recruiting and hiring staff across multiple departments and programs
• Running background checks and managing onboarding for all new hires
• Assigning and tracking required trainings and compliance requirements
• Managing staff timekeeping, clock-ins, PTO, holidays, and HR records
• Ensuring HR practices align with OMH and OASAS requirements
• Be personable.

Qualifications:

• Experience in HR management (healthcare or behavioral health strongly preferred)
• Familiarity with OMH and/or OASAS regulations is a plus
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work with a diverse, multidisciplinary team
• Efficient, personable, and solution-oriented
