We’re looking for someone who enjoys bringing structure to growth, can think independently, and wants to be part of building something that’s still taking form.
Our Corporate office is in Brooklyn, NY, but can be fully remote for the right person. If you’re highly capable, organized, and able to run HR functions without constant oversight, we’re open to flexibility.
You’ll own payroll, benefits, and compliance, and serve as the go-to for both employees and leadership. This is a role for someone who wants real responsibility and the trust that comes with it.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll and manage benefits accurately and efficiently
- Develop and implement HR policies to ensure compliance with all applicable laws
- Oversee benefits administration and help shape competitive offerings
- Serve as the main point of contact for employee and manager HR-related questions
- Partner with legal counsel and external vendors to maintain compliance
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes across HR and payroll systems
- Build and improve internal HR processes to increase efficiency and organization
Requirements:
- 2–5 years of HR experience, ideally in a hands-on, operational role
- Strong experience with payroll, benefits, and HR systems
- Solid understanding of HR laws and regulations (FMLA, ADA, ACA, etc.)
- Strong communication skills and ability to operate independently
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus
