Job Description

Overview

An established long‑term care billing and revenue cycle management company is seeking an experienced Director of Human Resources to lead all HR functions across a fast‑paced, multi‑facility organization.

The Director of HR will oversee recruitment, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and organizational development while partnering closely with executive leadership to support company growth and culture.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the full HR function, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and retention strategies.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices aligned with federal and state employment laws.
  • Support staffing needs across billing, RCM, administrative, and leadership teams.
  • Oversee benefits administration, compensation planning, and annual reviews.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on organizational structure, workforce planning, and employee engagement.
  • Manage employee relations issues with fairness, consistency, and confidentiality.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including FMLA, ADA, EEOC, and state labor laws.
  • Lead training and development initiatives to support staff growth and operational excellence.
  • Maintain accurate HRIS records, personnel files, and reporting metrics.
  • Foster a positive, professional, and collaborative workplace culture.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 3+ years of progressive HR leadership experience; healthcare, long‑term care, or billing/RCM experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices.
  • Proven ability to manage sensitive employee relations matters with discretion and fairness.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, growing environment with shifting priorities.
  • HR certification (PHR/SPHR/SHRM‑CP/SHRM‑SCP) a plus.


Schedule & Work Environment

  • Full‑time, on‑site role based in Lakewood, NJ.
