A fast growing insurance sales organization is seeking a Director of Human Resources to lead all aspects of HR and employee relations. This role is for a no nonsense, hands on leader who understands the pace accountability and personality of a sales driven environment.

We’re looking for someone who can balance people skills with business needs. someone who knows when to coach, when to support and when to hold employees accountable.

Responsibilities

• Lead all HR functions including recruiting, onboarding, benefits and employee relationships.
• Develop and enforce company policies and procedures.
• Manage employee issues, investigations and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws.
• Oversee compensation, benefits and HR systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HR leadership experience, preferably in insurance, financial services or another sales driven industry.
• Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
• Experience managing employee relations and difficult conversations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organized, detail oriented and highly accountable.
• Ability to earn respect from both executives and frontline employees.
